If you have spent any time looking into online marketing, affiliate marketing, or making money online from home, you may have heard of Wealthy Affiliate. Or you may be new to the topic, in which case I’m honored to have the opportunity to share with you about Wealthy Affiliate (WA).
In this article I am going to offer an honest review of Wealthy Affiliate. I’ll discuss the pros and cons so you can decide if WA is a good fit for you.
What is Wealthy Affiliate?
Wealthy Affiliate is a lot of things. The simplest way to describe it is to say Wealthy Affiliate is the most comprehensive training on the planet regarding affiliate marketing. In addition to being a training / online entrepreneurship school Wealthy Affiliate serves as:
- A vibrant community of like-minded people and a social network
- A website builder and hosting service
- An opportunity to earn significant money online
WA offers a TON of training in the form of videos, articles, and live webinars. Seriously, a TON. One con about WA is that there is so much information it can be overwhelming. Thankfully, the training is broken down into multiple phases, lessons, and tasks.
Learning about affiliate marketing and building an online business is a long journey, but WA offers training and ongoing support for EVERY STEP of the journey.
What is Affiliate Marketing?
According to (the all-knowing) Wikipedia, “Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate’s own marketing efforts.”
Affiliate marketers bring customers to businesses, and as a result they earn a commission for doing so. Affiliate marketing amounts to billions of dollars annually.
As a Wealthy Affiliate member, you can learn how to choose from almost 600 million products or services. You’ll learn how to promote them, and there is no shipping, inventory, or support required.
How Can Wealthy Affiliate Help Me?
Nearly every person on the internet (who and understands English) could benefit from WA. Anyone who wants to earn extra income and eventually a full-time income can be succeed online. What’s the secret? Knowledge, time, and work.
If you desire to make money from home, Wealthy Affiliate can show you how, step-by-step.
Beware though… here’s another “con” to WA: while nearly every person could benefit, it is not for everyone. If you are looking to get rich quick, Wealthy Affiliate is not for you. (Hint: any get rich quick opportunity out there won’t work… the only person getting rich is the person selling the “program”.)
